Following in the path of our popular productions,
Merry Widow in 2013 and Desert Song last year,
the Birmingham Music Club is producing another great light-opera!
This year we proudly present
Die Fledermaus (The Bat), by Johann Strauss II.
Award-winning light-opera director Kristin Kenning
will be directing a stellar and multi-talented cast
in this charming operetta, to be performed in English.
A lovers’ tryst, assumed identities, the threat of being jailed,
and a very famous costume ball,
all add up to a delightfully intriguing story line.
The beautiful music, performed by magnificent vocalists,
and a wonderful live orchestra,
will make Die Fledermaus a performance not to be missed!
